VISAKHAPATNAM: The Railways have decided to run weekly special trains between Hatia and Bengaluru Cantonment and between Secunderabad and Guwahati, to clear the rush of passengers, according to a release here on Saturday.
Train number 08637 Hatia-Bengaluru Cantonment Garibrath Express will leave Hatia at 2.15pm on Sundays (June 8, 15 and 22) and arrive at Visakhapatnam on Mondays at 6.30am. It will depart at 6.50am and reach Bengaluru Cantonment at 6am the next day.
In the return direction, train number 08638 Bengaluru Cantonment-Hatia Garibrath Express will leave Bengaluru Cantonment at 12.30 am on Wednesdays (June 11, 18 and 25) and arrive at Visakhapatnam on the same day at 8.35 pm. It will departure at 8.55pm and reach Hatia at 1.30pm the next day.
This pair will stop at Jharsuguda, Sambalpur Bargarh Road, Balangir, Titlaghar, Kesinga, Muniguda, Rayagada, Parvatipuram,Bobbili, Vizianagaram and Visakhapatnam of the East Coast Railway.
Train number 07249 Secunderabad-Guwahati Express will leave Secunderabad at 7.30am on Friday (June 13 and 20) and arrive at Visakhapatnam the next day at 8am. It will departure at 8.20am and reach Guwahati at 7.55am on Sunday.
Train number 07250 Guwahati-Secunderabad Express will leave Guwahati at 6am on Monday (June 16 and 23) and arrive at Visakhapatnam on Tuesday at 7.20pm. It will departure at 8 pm and reach Secunderabad on Wednesday at 10am.
This pair will also stop at Bhadrak, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Brahmapur, Palasa, Vizianagaram, and Duvvada of East Coast Railway.
