DIWALI SPECIAL TRAINS BETWEEN INDORE AND PUNE BOOKINGS FOR 09311 OPEN FROM 22.10.2014

Railways have decided to run two special trains between Indore and Pune to clear the extra rush of passengers o­n account of Diwali.

The details are as under -

09312 Indore - Pune special train will leave Indore o­n Monday, 27.10.2014 at 20.55 hrs and will arrive Pune at 15.30 hrs next day. 

09311 Pune - Indore special train will leave Pune o­n Tuesday, 28.10.2014 at 17.20 hrs and will arrive Indore at 11.20 hrs next day. 


HALTS: Dewas, Ujjain, Nagda, Ratlam, Dahod, Godhra, Vadodara, Bharuch, Surat, Vapi, Vasai Road, Kalyan and Lonavala.

COMPOSITION: o­ne First AC cum AC-3 Tier, o­ne AC-2 Tier, Two AC-3 Tier, 12 sleeper class, 4 General second class and Two General second class cum Guard's brake van.

RESERVATION: Bookings open for 09311 from 22.10.2014.

2 Superfast AC special train between Pune and Nagpur - Bookings open on 24.10.2014

Central Railway will run two Superfast AC Special between Pune and Nagpur to clear the extra rush of passenger due to Diwali. Train No.01237 will leave Pune at 06.15 hrs o­n 25.10.2014 and will arrive Nagpur at 22.10 hrs same day. Train No.01238 will leave Nagpur at 08.20 hrs o­n 26.10.2014 and will arrive Pune at 23.55 hrs same day. HALTS: Daund, Manmad, Bhusaval, Akola, Bandera, Dhamangaon and Wardha 

COMPOSITION: o­ne Executive Chair Car and 7 AC Chair Car

RESERVATION: Bookings open from 24.10.2014

Passengers of Bhiwandi Road and Panvel who have booked their journey tickets by Train no 16337 Okha-Ernakulam Express o­n and from 01.11.2014 o­nwards are requested to please refer the New Western Zone railway time-table effective from 01.11.2014 for departure and arrival timings to avoid any inconvenience.

MULTIFUNCTIONAL COMPLEX TO BE DEVELOPED AT VASAI ROAD RAILWAY STATION



To provide multiple Passenger facilities like shopping, food stalls/ restaurants, Book stalls, PCO Booths, ATMs, Medicines and Variety stores, Budget Hotels, Food Plaza, parking spaces and other similar Passenger facilities to rail users at Railway Station, a Multifunctional Complex (MFC) has been planned to be developed at Vasai Road station. 

Rail Land Development Authority has floated a Tender Notice – Request for Proposal (RFP) – inviting proposals from interested eligible bidders for Development of Multi Functional Complex (MFC) at Vasai Road, for which the last date of Sale of Bid Document is 12th November, 2014 upto 1600 Hrs. The Site for development of Multi Functional Complex (MFC) is being offered for 45 years lease period. Therefore all the interested Real Estate Developers are requested to visit the Official website of RLDA www.rlda.in for further details/ information to participate in the tendering process for the said site.

SCR Asks its Pensioners to Submit Life Certificate



All the Railway Pensioners / Family Pensioners and Ex-gratia payees drawing pension from various Public Sector Banks / Post Officers are required to Submit Life Certificate along with Non-employment / Re-employment and Non-remarriage / Re-marriage Certificates to authorities from where they are presently drawing their pension before the end of November-2014 to continue get their pension regularly.

The prescribed pro-forma of life certificate is available with the respective Banks / Post Offices. The Pensioners are also requested to submit personal details such as - their Name, address, date of birth, date of retirement, current residence address, contact phone number etc., along with their Photograph.

SCR to run Two Premium Superfast Express Trains between Secunderabad – Ahmedabad



In order to clear extra rush of passengers, South Central Railway has announced (vide Press Release No.474 dt. 21.10.2014) a premium special train between Secunderabad and Rajkot ie., 1st November, 2014 from Secunderabad and 2ndNovember, 2014 back from Rajkot.

The destination of this premium Special train is revised to run between Secunderabad and Ahmedabad instead of Secunderabad and Rajkot.

Accordingly, Train No. 07018 Secunderabad-Ahmedabad Premium Superfast Express train will depart Secunderabad ) at 07:30 am on 1st November, 2014 (Saturdayand arrive Ahmedabad at 04:15 am o­n the next day.

In the return direction, Train No. 07017 Ahmedabad-Secunderabad Premium Superfast Express train will depart Ahmedabad at 05:15 pm on 2nd November, 2014 (Sunday)and arrive Secunderabad at 02:45 pm o­n the next day.

En-route, these premium superfast express trains will stop at Pune, Kalyan, Surat, and Vadodara stations in both the directions. These trains will have 16 Coaches viz., o­ne AC II Tier, two AC III Tier, ten Sleeper Class, o­ne Pantry Car coach and two Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Van coaches.

Advance reservations for these Premium Superfast Express Trains will commence at 08:00 am o­n 22ndOctober 2014 and can be booked o­nline through IRCTC Portal o­n internet.

Cancellation / Regulation of Certain Trains due to Traffic Block between Tanguturu and Surareddipalem Stations



South Central Railway will impose a Traffic Block for replacement of a RCC Slab Bridge with RCC Box Bridge between Tanguturu and Surareddipalem Stations o­n Vijayawada Division on 4thNovember, 2014. As a result, the following trains will be cancelled / regulated o­n 4thNovember, 2014 as detailed below:-

Cancellation: 

1)Train No.57277 Gudur-Vijayawada Passenger.

2)Train No.57242 Vijayawada-Bitragunta Passenger.

3)Train No. 67280 o­ngole-Gudur Passenger.

4)Train No. 67279 Gudur-Ongole Passenger.

Regulation:

1)Train No. 17480 Tirupati-Puri Express will be regulated for 45 minutes.

Special Trains extended to Run for more trips during November, 2014



In order to clear extra rush of passengers, the following Special Trains are extended to run for more trips as detailed below:-

1) Tr. No. 07319/07320 Hubli-Secunderabad-Hubli Tri-Weekly Special Train is extended to run for 26 more trips. Accordingly, Train No. 07319 Hubli - Secunderabad Tri-Weekly Special Train will depart Hubi at 08:50 pm o­n 1st, 4th, 6th, 8th, 11th, 13th, 15th, 18th, 20th, 22nd, 25th, 27th & 29thNovember, 2014 (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday) and arrive Secunderabad at 11:45 am o­n the next day. 

In the return direction, Train No. 07320 Secunderabad-Hubli Tri-Weekly Special Train will depart Secunderabad at 04:00 pm o­n 2nd, 5th, 7th, 9th, 12th, 14th, 16th, 19th, 21st, 23rd, 26th, 28th & 30th November, 2014 (Wednesday, Friday and Sunday) and arrive Hubli at 07:50 am o­n the next day.

Enroute, these special trains will stop at Annigeri, Gadag, Hole-Alur, Badami, Bagalkot, Almatti, Basavana Bagewadi, Bijapur, Indi Road, Hotgi, Ganagapur Road, Gulbarga, Shahabad, Wadi, Chittapur, Seram, Tandur, Vikarabad, Lingampalli and Begumpet stations. These trains will have 16 coaches viz., o­ne AC II Tier, o­ne AC III Tier, six Sleeper Class, six General Second Class and two Luggage cum Brake van coaches.

2) Tr. No. 02683/02684 Mysore-Santragachhi-Mysore Weekly Premium Superfast Special Train is extended to run for 2 more trips. Accordingly, Train No. 02683 Mysore-Santragachhi Weekly Premium Superfast Special Train will depart Mysore at 06:00 am o­n 5th November, 2014 (Wednesday) and arrive Santragachhi at 03:45 pm o­n the next day. 

In the return direction, Train No. 02684 Santragachhi -Mysore Weekly Premium Superfast Special Train will depart Santragachhi at 05:50 am o­n 7thNovember, 2014 (Friday) and arrive Mysore at 04:45 pm o­n the next day.

Enroute, these special trains will stop at Bangalore City, Vijayawada, Duvvada, Bhubaneswar, and Kharagpur stations.These trains will have 18 coaches viz., o­ne AC II Tier, two AC III Tier, twelve Sleeper Class, o­ne pantry car and two Luggage cum Brake van coaches.

3)Tr. No. 02695/02696 Yesvantpur-Jaipur- Yesvantpur Weekly Premium Spuerfast Special Train is extended to run for 8 more trips. Accordingly, Train No. 02695 Yesvantpur - Jaipur Weekly Premium Superfast Special Train will depart Yesvantpur at 11:30 am o­n 6th, 13th, 20th& 27th November, 2014 (Thursdays) and arrive Jaipur at 06:35 am o­n Saturdays. 

In the return direction, Train No.02696 Jaipur - Yesvantpur Weekly Premium Superfast Special Train will depart Jaipur at 10:15 pm o­n 8th, 15th, 22nd & 29th November, 2014 (Saturdays) and arrive Yesvantpur at 05:55 pm o­n Mondays.

Enroute, these premium weekly special trains will stop at Tumkur, Bellary, Pune, Surat and Ajmer stations in both the directions.These trains will have 16 coaches viz, two AC II Tier, four AC III Tier, seven Sleeper Class, o­ne pantry car and two Luggage, Generator cum Brake van coaches.

4)Tr. No. 02681/02682 Mysore-Varanasi-Mysore Bi -Weekly Superfast Special Train (4 services):

Train No. 02681 Mysore-Varanasi Bi-Weekly Superfast Special Train will depart Mysore at 06:00 am o­n 31st October, 2nd November, 2014 (Sunday & Friday) and arrive Varanasi at 01:30 am o­n the Tuesday and Sunday. 

In the return direction, Train No. 02682 Varanasi-Mysore Bi-Weekly Superfast Special Train will depart Varanasi at 09:50 pm o­n 2nd & 4th November, 2014 (Tuesday & Sunday)and arrive Mysore at 04:45 pm o­n Thursday and Tuesday.

Enroute, these special trains will stop at Bangalore City, Vijayawada, Nagpur and Jabalpur stations.These trains will have 18 coaches viz., o­ne AC II Tier, two AC III Tier, twelve Sleeper Class, o­ne pantry car and two Luggage cum Brake van coaches.
