इस साल रेलवे का रेवेन्यू 1.5 लाख करोड़ रुपये से अधिक जाने को तैयार है। चालू वित्त वर्ष में 13 अक्टूबर तक पैसेंजर रेवेन्यू 43,101 करोड़ रुपये रहा। रिजर्वेशन वाले पैसेंजर्स ने रेलवे को 7 फीसदी अधिक 31,875 करोड़ रुपये की आय अर्जित करने में मदद की।

माल ढुलाई से इनकम बढ़ने के चलते रेलवे के रेवेन्यू (Railways’ revenue) में अच्छा-खासा इजाफा हो रहा है। रेलवे का रेवेन्यू इस बार 1.5 लाख करोड़ के आंकड़े को पार करने को तैयार है। रेलवे की माल ढुलाई से आय ही 1 लाख करोड़ रुपये को पार कर गई है। जबकि कुल राजस्व में चालू वित्त वर्ष के दौरान अब तक 6.5 फीसदी की वृद्धि हुई है। हालांकि, यह 2023-24 के लिए 9 फीसदी से अधिक के सालाना ग्रोथ टार्गेट से कम है। रेलवे अधिकारियों को भरोसा है कि बारिश के बाद माल लदान बढ़ने के साथ ही आर्थिक गतिविधियां मजबूत बनी रहेंगी, जिससे सालाना टार्गेट पूरा हो जाएगा।

43,101 करोड़ रुपये रहा पैसेंजर रेवेन्यू

चालू वित्त वर्ष में 13 अक्टूबर तक पैसेंजर रेवेन्यू 43,101 करोड़ रुपये रहा। रिजर्वेशन वाले पैसेंजर्स ने रेलवे को 7 फीसदी अधिक 31,875 करोड़ रुपये की आय अर्जित करने में मदद की। हालांकि, यात्रियों की संख्या 4.7 फीसदी घटकर 47.4 करोड़ रुपये रही। इसका मतलब है कि वंदे भारत जैसी ट्रेनों के आने के बाद प्रति पैसेंजर रेवेन्यू ऊपर गया है।

51,000 करोड़ रुपये रही कोयले से आय

गैर-आरक्षित पैसेंजर्स से आय 3.8 फीसदी बढ़कर 11,326 करोड़ रुपये रही। जबकि ट्रैफिक 12 फीसदी बढ़कर 366 करोड़ हो गया। वॉल्यूम के हिसाब से देखें, तो चालू वित्त वर्ष में 14 अक्टूबर तक माल लदान 3.7 फीसदी बढ़कर 940 मिलियन टन हो गया। रेलवे द्वारा जारी आंकड़ों से यह जानकारी मिली है। कोयले से होने वाली आय, जो एक मुख्य आधार है, में 3.5 फीसदी की वृद्धि हुई है। यह करीब 51,000 करोड़ रुपये रही। जबकि लदान 5.5 फीसदी बढ़कर 463 मिलियन टन हो गया।
