अभी SM category में GP 4200 अर्थात लेवल 6 में कुल sanctioned stength का 60% और GP 4600 अर्थात लेवल 7 में 40% होते हैं। अब जो लोग वर्तमान में 4600 में हैं उनका 50% अर्थात 4600 वाले कुल TI/SS/CYM में से आधे लोगों को 4800 का प्रॉपर ग्रेड 1दिसंबर 2022 से दिया जायेगा। फिर जब 4800 में 4 वर्ष पूरे हो जाएंगे तब उनकी कुल संख्या के आधे को 5400 के प्रोपर ग्रेड में प्रोमोट किया जाएगा। अभी 4800 और 5400 में प्रोपर प्रमोशन पाने वाले के पोस्ट अर्थात नए designation के बारे में स्पष्टीकरण आना बाकी है। लाभ तो अपने समय पर सभी योग्य लोगों को मिलेगा। जो आज 4200 में हैं वे 4600 में भी जायेंगे और फिर 4800 और 5400. लेटर के अनुसार 4 वर्ष बाद कुल स्ट्रेंथ का वर्गीकरण8वर्गीकरण निम्न प्रकार होना चाहिए_ 5400 में 10%, 4800 में 10%, 4600 में 20% और 4200 में 60%
