All the railway staff should be withdrawn from their unconnected jobs like workshop staff, ESMs, Pointsmen, BTC staff, RPF costables etc. The list is endless. Even the misuse of office vehicles.

While the gangmen working in house is visible the jobs done by others is not visible, but equally deplorable.

RPF constables doing the dog walks, misuse of official vehicles for all petty jobs like ferrying children for extra curriculars etc.

Other staff are being misused for driving cars, ferrying madams on their shopping sojourn. Some officers whom I know, don’t even have a two wheeler b’coz dept vehicle with driver drawn from working post (b’coz regular driver entitles TA/OT) are at their service on 24X7. The staff doing officers personnel job are privileged and don’t work during weekdays and are in the protected list.

Even in the current dispensation, some field supervisors are being used in Hqrs office b’coz the office staff (esp Ministerial staff) in technical dept have become redundant.

The misuse by officers in all spheres should be should stopped.
