First Aid – फर्स्ट एड बाक्स

भारतीय रेल में  सभी स्टेशनों पर जहा स्टेशन मास्टर पदस्थापित है वहा फर्स्ट ऐड बॉक्स व पास के अस्पतालों की सूची व टेलीफोन नंबर होना अनिवार्य है इसके अलावा सभी पैसेंजर  ट्रेन के गार्ड के पास, लंबी दूरी की गाडियों (राजधानी आदि ) में पेंट्री  कार में एवं सभी कारखानों में भी फर्स्ट ऐड बॉक्स उपलब्ध रहता है किसी भी फर्स्ट एड बॉक्स पर ताला नही लगाया  जाता बल्कि उन्हें हमेशा पेपर सील किया जाता है ।

फर्स्ट एस बॉक्स में उपलब्ध सामान की सूची 
1. Set if six wooden extensible splints –
    1 set (St. John Ambulance Type)
2. Sterile adhesive strip dressing (standart size) – 20 Nos.
3. Rubber tourniquet – 2 Nos.
4. Poller bandages (7.5 cm X 4 mtr) gauze – 10 Nos.
5. Triangular bandages (130 cm X 90 cm) – 4 Nos.
6. Tab. Paracetamol – 20 in strips 
7. Antiseptic cream 25 Gms. – 1 Tube 
8. Injury card – 1.No.
9. Safety pin set of 10 – 1 Set 
10. Tab. Diazepam – 10 tab. In strio 
11.Cotton wool 100 gms. 1 packet.
     In all first aid boxes of  Railway station, the contents should be replaced and sent to the Health units/Hospitals for refilling 
नोट – फर्स्ट ऐड बॉक्स में उपलब्ध सभी सामग्री के उपयोग के बारे में प्रैक्टिकल ट्रेनिंग देकर प्रशिक्षार्थियो को प्रशिक्षक व्दारा प्रशिक्षण के दौरान उसका  महत्व समझाया जाता है ।
