Where can I find plinthed or preserved locos in India?

Some information is provided below. Also see the locomotive lists which detail steam survivors in south Asia, preserved locos in Sri Lanka, etc., and also the industrial loco list which has information on many preserved locomotives in India and other south Asian countries. The page on steam locomotives and the current steam page have some more information.
Note: In the lists below, “[NA]” indicates a locomotive that is not (readily) accessible to the public.
WP locomotives
There are 7 WP’s preserved in India; all are in good enough condition to allow steaming; two (7015 and 7161) have gone on trial runs recently [2/00] after being refitted for air brakes and being overhauled at Charbagh Workshops.
The National Rail Museum has a WP/P (Baldwin prototype for WP class), #7200.
The NRM also has WP’s 7015 and 7161 which have been steamed recently [2/00, 4/02] and are in good working condition.
The Jhansi Institute has a WP (#7656 (7056?).
The Charbagh Workshops have a WP (#7278).
The Sonpur DRM’s office has a WP (#7581F).
Bhusawal Station has preserved a WP loco (#7000).
The railway museums at New Delhi and Mysore have quite a few preserved locos. Partial listings are given below. For a complete list of exhibits at the NRM, refer to the related web pages listed under the section on museums.
[2000] At Dapodi, near Pune, there is a sort of open-air loco museum, where the CME and staff have arranged for the preservation of a couple of steam locomotives, a steam crane, various other stationary and mobile steam engines, and other miscellaneous exhibits of machinery and also some defence-related items such as a Patton tank, a World War 2 era bridge layer, etc.
